This New Year’s Eve join old-time swing sextet the Midnight Serenaders at the Secret Society Ballroom in Portland for their first ever New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball! Also appearing on this very memorable evening will be the debut of the (almost all) female supergroup Trolley Jane, featuring Portland alt-country starlet Little Sue, Lisa Marsicek, aka. Miz Kitty, the Midnight Serenaders’ Dee Settlemier, and Captain James Cook fr…om Trashcan Joe. There will also be a very special swing dance performance by the Syncopated Rhythms dance company.
The Secret Society Ballroom, built in 1907, is one of Portland’s most elegant event spaces, with beautiful hardwood floors, lush red drapes and vintage wood, simply an amazing ambiance and the perfect spot for a New Year’s celebration. Fine food and drinks will be available, and a champagne toast will be provided.
